Job summary

Cliff The Leasing Man LLC in Lansing, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our private, local management team. You will handle resident work orders, prepare units, and ensure systems meet code while maintaining exteriors.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to work nights/weekends. Competitive hourly pay and company benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in electrical, plumbing, or related trades.
• Experience with building maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Replace/upgrade unit when necessary (new cabinets, sinks, faucets, tile etc.)

Maintenance Technician - Full Time

Be a key member of our growing team! We are a privately owned, local management company in Lansing looking for a trustworthy, customer service oriented, experienced maintenance technician to help maintain apartment buildings in the greater Lansing area. A strong work ethic and good people skills are a must!

Your main areas of responsibility will be:

• Fulfilling resident work orders
• Preparing units for the next resident
• Ensuring unit is operational and up to code
• Replace/upgrade unit when necessary (new cabinets, sinks, faucets, tile etc.)
• Working with suppliers and property managers
• Maintenance of common areas and building exteriors
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
• This position requires you to be on call some nights and weekends

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Pass background screening
• High school degree or equivalent

A minimum of 3 years experience in most, but not necessarily all of the following areas:

• - Electrical
• - Plumbing
• - Lock installation
• - HVAC
• - General carpentry
• - Drywall repair

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 5:00pm
