Job summary

The Arbor Company is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician in Lake Worth, TX, to join a team that values its people and delivers a caring living environment for residents.

You’ll perform interior painting, patching, and handyman tasks, prepare apartments for new residents, participate in preventative maintenance, and report to the Maintenance Director. Starting wage is $20 per hour with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience painting and performing basic handyman tasks preferred.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for new residents.
• Interior painting, touch-ups, patching, and minor repairs.
• Complete general handyman projects throughout the community.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and work orders.
• Support the Maintenance Director with daily tasks.
• Keep tools, supplies, and maintenance areas organized.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our community looking its best by:

• Preparing apartments for new residents
• Interior painting, touch-ups, patching, and minor repairs
• Completing general handyman projects throughout the community
• Assisting with preventative maintenance and work orders
• Supporting the Maintenance Director with daily maintenance tasks
• Keeping tools, supplies, and maintenance areas organized

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

• Previous painting and handyman/maintenance experience
• Experience with apartment turns or residential maintenance preferred
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, plumbing, and minor repairs
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
