Job summary

Arbor Terrace Glenview is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to join The Arbor Company team. In this full-time role, you will work with the Maintenance Director to prep apartments, perform basic repairs, and keep our community safe and inviting for residents and staff.

We seek dependable individuals with a high school diploma or equivalent and some handyman or painting experience. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• General maintenance/handyman/painting experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Preparing apartments for new residents, including painting, touch-ups, and minor repairs.
• Assisting with general maintenance and handyman projects throughout the community.
• Helping with basic repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Responding to maintenance needs in resident apartments and common areas.
• Keeping tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies organized and ready for use.
• Supporting the Maintenance Director with projects and day-to-day community needs.
• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept environment.

What You’ll Do
