Maintenance Technician - Joplin, MO

As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance of processing and packaging equipment and providing technical support to improve and optimize within the manufacturing operations and processes.

Shift hours:

• 8-hour shift
• 2nd shift: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
• 3rd shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

We are currently hiring for 2nd and/or 3rd shifts, depending on business needs. Employees will have two days off per scheduled work week and must be willing to work overtime, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency events, as our plant operates 24/7.

Pay:

• Up to $30.13 per hour
• $27.91 to $30.13 per hour depending on skillset and experience
• Shift differential applies for 2nd and 3rd shifts

• Creating high-quality foods for daily consumption across the country

  • Following all safety policies and procedures
  • Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing machinery and tools
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
  • Managing work orders and parts via Maximo Maintenance System
  • Supporting equipment troubleshooting and modifications
  • Participating in Root Cause Analysis
  • Performing preventative maintenance
  • Communicating effectively with team members and vendors
  • Engaging in Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Training new employees

What you have to offer:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years maintenance and electrical experience in manufacturing
• Understanding of PLC operation and troubleshooting electrical systems
• Strong mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical skills
• Experience with tools and CMMS software
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities

Physical requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting
• Work at heights using ladders, lifts, or platforms
• Wear protective gear as required
• Adhere to grooming standards for food safety
• Work in various environmental conditions including hot, cold, noisy, and dusty settings
• Work around high-speed machinery and allergens
