Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of grounds, common areas, and apartment homes while delivering prompt service.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and health/safety policies; adhere to EPA regulations and update property log; report unsafe activities.
• Support expense control by fixing rather than replacing when applicable.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy using Market-Ready Inspection form for market readiness.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain pool area and other community facilities.
• Complete service requests efficiently.
• Conduct daily property walks and remove litter, debris, and pet waste.
• Responsible for snow/ice removal of walkways, sidewalks, and parking lots.
• Assist Service Manager in maintaining shop and supply inventories within budget.
• Deliver consistent excellent customer service yielding positive ratings and reviews.

Requirements

• One year related experience
• HVAC/EPA Certification preferred
• Proficiency with various hand and power tools
• Experience with appliance, electrical, drywall, and/or plumbing repairs
• Ability to work flexible work schedules including on-call rotations, after hours, and weekends when needed
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation
