$30.00/yr - $42.00/yr

Position Summary

We seek a skilled Mechanical Technician (2nd Shift, 2:00pm - 10:30pm) to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical systems used in our food production processes, ensuring efficient operation and high standards of quality and safety.

What You’ll Do

• Perform maintenance on equipment such as conveyor belts, packaging machines, and automated systems
• Troubleshoot and repair control voltage systems, including PLC diagnosis
• Conduct mechanical repairs on pneumatic and hydraulic systems; assist with fabrication
• Perform TIG welding to meet food-grade standards
• Assist in installation and upgrades of equipment
• Implement preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Ensure safety standards and document all work
• Collaborate with team members
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s degree or certification in Electromechanical Technology or related field; Journeyman’s card preferred
• 5–7 years of electromechanical maintenance experience
• Food industry or manufacturing experience preferred
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, schematics
• TIG welding skills to meet 3A standards
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physical tasks
• Willingness to work in varied environmental conditions following safety protocols
