Job summary

EHOB in Indianapolis is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install and service production equipment, perform machine maintenance and preventive maintenance, and support tool installations.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, interpret blueprints and manuals, work with minimal supervision, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Associate degree is preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for performing machine maintenance, repairs, tool installations and removals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Install and service production equipment.
• Perform machine maintenance, repairs, and PM’s.
• Perform lock out / tag out effectively.
• Tool installation, verification, adjustments, and removal.
• Machining, welding, and/or fabrication of replacement parts for production equipment.
• Design and build test equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals and other work instructions.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Work without direct supervision.
• Other duties as assigned

QualificationsEducation and/or Experience

• High school diploma and 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; Associate degree preferred.
