Job summary

Gebhart is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Recycling division with skilled maintenance across welding, electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to keep plant operations running smoothly.

The position is full-time and on-site, with wage increases every 6 months and attendance/production bonuses available from day one.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• Industrial maintenance, millwright, or welding experience in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance/repair tasks at the plant.
• Conduct preventative maintenance/repair on mobile equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on furnaces, power supplies and plant equipment.
• Repair unscheduled equipment issues causing downtime.
• Complete work orders and PM paperwork.
• Maintain regular and timely attendance; follow lean 5S practices.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Technician will provide assistance in all aspects of maintenance such as welding, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Maintenance Supervisor

SUPERVISES:

N/A

Essential Responsibilities:

• Maintenance/Repair tasks at the plant.
• Preventative maintenance/repair tasks on mobile equipment.
• Preventive maintenance/repair tasks on furnaces, power supplies and plant operational equipment and processes.
• Repairs of unscheduled equipment issues causing downtime
• Completing work orders & PM paperwork
• Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position
• Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes

Requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• Industrial maintenance or millwright or welding experience within other manufacturing facilities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs.
• Physical Requirements: Exerting up to fifty (50) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to twenty-five (25) pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Visual Acuity: ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to make general observations of facilities.
