Pluckers Wing Bar - Corporate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our growing Facilities team in Texas. You will perform routine HVAC and refrigeration preventive maintenance, focusing on cleaning, filter replacement, inspections, and coordinating with licensed contractors for more complex repairs.

The role emphasizes strong organization, problem-solving, and clear communication with restaurant locations and managers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
• No Facilities experience? No problem – training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC systems including rooftop units, split systems, and fan coils.
• Inspect, clean, and service HVAC components (filters, coils, belts, motors, bearings, drain pans, basic electrical connections).
• Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend corrective repairs.
• Accurately complete service documentation using work order management software.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean and proper working condition.
• Communicate clearly with customers, building managers, and supervisors.
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies.

About the Role:

The Maintenance Technician performs routine, non‑specialized HVAC and Refrigeration preventive maintenance and inspections to support system performance and longevity. This position focuses on cleaning, filter replacement, visual inspections, basic operational checks, and coordination with licensed HVAC and Refrigeration contractors for repairs beyond basic maintenance.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC systems including rooftop units, split systems, and fan coils.
• Inspect, clean, and service HVAC components such as filters, coils, belts, motors, bearings, drain pans, and basic electrical connections. This position does not perform refrigerant‑related tasks, sealed system, or major component repairs.
• Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend corrective repairs.
• Accurately complete service documentation using work order management software.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean and proper working conditions.
• Communicate clearly with customers, building managers, and supervisors.
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies.

What You’ll Need:

• Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment to quality.
• Ability to both collaborate with a team effectively and work independently.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.

Hours and Work Environment:

• Full‑time, Monday through Friday. Variable hours may be required, including early mornings or evenings.
• Travel during workdays to various restaurant locations. Overnight stays 35% of the time. Company vehicle provided.
• Restaurant kitchen, rooftops, mechanical rooms, and exterior areas.
• Exposure to heat, humidity, cooking environments, and mechanical equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and safely access rooftop equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.

Pay Description:This is a salaried, non-exempt role equating to $19.23 - $25/hour depending on experience.
