Job summary

CloudKitchens in Dallas is seeking an experienced HVAC/R technician for hands-on maintenance across multiple sites. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems, diagnose issues, and support facility operations to keep equipment safe and efficient.

The role focuses on rooftop units, ventilation, refrigeration, and do-not-forget to travel between sites locally with on-call rotation. A valid driver’s license is required and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience.
• Experience working with rooftop units, ventilation systems, or refrigeration (WIC/F).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites locally.
• EPA Universal certification preferred (HVAC).
• Experience in restaurants, hospitality, or multi-site facilities preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems preferred.
• Field-based role across the Greater Dallas area preferred.
• Local travel between sites (home daily) preferred.
• Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation and overtime opportunities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems (WIC/F, RTUs, exhaust fans, hoods, make‑up air units, DOAS systems).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues across multiple sites.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Handle basic electrical and plumbing maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and warranty work.
• Use Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance and diagnose issues.
• Provide remote troubleshooting support to onsite teams and vendors.
• Review reports (startup, testing, balancing) to verify system performance.
• Assist with new facility openings by verifying installation and system functionality.
• Identify issues early and coordinate corrective actions.
• 70% hands-on maintenance, 10% inspections/reporting.

What you’ll do

HVAC/R & Facilities Maintenance

• Identify issues early and coordinate corrective actions

What your week looks like

• 70% hands‑on HVAC/R maintenance & repair
• 10% inspections, reporting, and system verification

What we’re looking for

Required

• 4+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience
• Experience working with rooftop units, ventilation systems, or refrigeration (WIC/F)

Preferred

• HVAC Universal certification (EPA, trade school, or equivalent)

Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
