Job summary

Brookside Properties is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Hampton Creek Apartments. The role covers completing service requests, prepping turns, and performing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks to maintain community buildings and grounds.

The ideal candidate has maintenance or handyman experience in multifamily settings, with painting skills and strong problem solving. On-call rotation and reliable transport are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintenance or handyman experience in multifamily buildings preferred.
• Painting experience required.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (turns), including painting.
• Perform general maintenance: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Maintain community grounds, buildings, and amenities.
• Respond to emergency and after-hours maintenance calls.
• Track and manage maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Follow all safety policies and industry regulations.
