Job summary

Stefanini Group in Hayward, CA seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities and to respond to maintenance requests to keep manufacturing running. You will replace worn parts, troubleshoot line-down issues, and assist senior technicians as needed.

The role requires a mechanical background, basic tool knowledge, ability to read drawings and schematics, and familiarity with GMP procedures. Overtime and shift variability are possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years' experience in a maintenance role - manufacturing and equipment/facilities preferred.
• Mechanical background and experience.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools, mechanical systems, preventative maintenance procedures, safety practices (lock out tag/out, PPE, etc.)
• GME/GMP experience preferred.
• Experience in reading drawings, P&IDs, electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience/knowledge of HVAC, pumps, servos/motors, chillers, freezers, air handlers, compressors.
• Strong problem solving skills and basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience with Maximo software a plus.
