Job summary

PDF Seal, LLC, a division of ProMach, in Hauppauge, NY, is seeking a Machine Mechanic to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot die-cutting machinery and flexographic printers. You will diagnose issues, replace defective parts, and ensure safe, efficient operation.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, keeping records, and collaborating with the Plant Manager and production team to address breakdowns promptly. Base hourly pay is $30–$36 with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Experience in machine maintenance and repair.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
• Attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset.
• Excellent communication, and organizational skills.

• Conduct electrical and electromechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with the Plant Manager and production team to address machine breakdowns efficiently.
• Respond to production emergency calls for breakdown maintenance, assess severity, and communicate timeline estimates to supervisors ( Production )

PDF Seal a division of Promach is looking for a Machine Mechanic for their Hauppauge location. The Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various types of machinery and mechanical equipment i.e Die Cutting machine and Flexographic printer. Their job involves diagnosing issues, replacing defective parts, and ensuring that machines operate efficiently and safely.

Primary Responsibilities

• –Hand Taps, Multimeter Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Test and calibrate machines to ensure proper functionality.

• Keep maintenance records and document repair work.
• Conduct electrical and electromechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with the Plant Manager and production team to address machine breakdowns efficiently.
