Job summary

Redwood Coast Medical Services (RCMS) is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day upkeep of our healthcare facilities and residential properties. You will help ensure buildings, equipment, and grounds are well-maintained, supporting staff, patients, and visitors across the organization.

Ideal candidates have maintenance or handyman experience, comfort with hand and power tools, and strong problem-solving skills. Healthcare facility experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Complete minor carpentry, painting, patching, and general facility upkeep.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic building and equipment issues.
• Replace light bulbs, air filters, ceiling tiles, and similar components.
• Assist with landscaping, mowing, and exterior property maintenance.
• Help maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• Support office moves, furniture assembly, event setup, and special projects.
• Coordinate access for vendors and contractors when needed.
• Maintain organized workspaces, storage areas, and maintenance records.
• Provide occasional backup support for environmental services staff.

RCMS is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep of our healthcare facilities and residential properties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and taking pride in maintaining safe, clean, and well-functioning environments.

As a key member of our Facilities team, you'll help ensure our buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained to the highest standards while supporting staff, patients, and visitors across our organization.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks
