Job summary

The Promise Care Center is seeking a skilled building maintenance professional to join our team. You will handle a range of maintenance tasks across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and painting, ensuring safe and reliable facilities.

Travel to other company locations may be required to support operations. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential to coordinate with the maintenance leadership and support staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and related trades.
• Proven ability to perform minor repairs, painting, and upkeep tasks.
• Experience across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall.
• Ability to read blueprints and document work performed.
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate skills and knowledge of building maintenance.
• Perform minor repairs, painting, filter and light fixture changes.
• Coordinate with facility administrator and Director of Maintenance.
• Travel to other facilities as needed for work.

Job description

The Promise Care Center is seeking a person who is knowledgeable with building maintenance. Our company is family-owned, and we provide a safe and pleasant home for adults with mental illness. We strive to go beyond the norm to provide a better quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Able to demonstrate skills and knowledge of building maintenance.
• Make minor repairs, paint, change filters and light fixtures, etc.
• HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing/Construction/Carpentry/Trouble-shooting experience
• Possess Leadership skills
• Able to work well with others
• Responsible work history and reference
• Able to provide guidance as directed under facility administrator and Director of Maintenance.
• Willing to travel to our other facilities to work when needed
• Other job duties assigned by your supervisor
