Job summary

Brookside Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Fairways at Valle Vista in Greenwood, IN. The role focuses on hands-on repairs and upkeep to keep the community in top condition.

You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry tasks, complete work orders promptly, and assist with grounds and building maintenance. A team-oriented, customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience and EPA certification preferred.
• Prior apartment or property maintenance experience.
• Reliable transportation and basic tools.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to walk property, climb ladders, and lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Handle apartment repairs: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry.
• Complete work orders quickly and professionally.
• Maintain community appearance: buildings, amenities, and grounds.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance.
• Follow safety and compliance guidelines (OSHA, EPA, Fair Housing).
