Job summary

Fluor Corp in Gray Court, SC is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment on a 7pm–7am 2/2/3 shift, with weekends alternating. The role requires mechanical and electrical maintenance, safety compliance, and ability to read manuals; prior manufacturing experience preferred.

You will work in climate-controlled nonwovens manufacturing and receive hourly pay of $28.00 to $38.00 plus shift differential, with full-time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing setting or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery operation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
• Basic Computer skills (Keyboarding, Microsoft Office).
• Basic understanding of ERP systems
• Must be able to work in a rapid work environment
• Forklift experience
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Lift up to 25 pounds.

Compensation: $28.00 - 38.00/hr + shift differential

Shift: 7pm - 7am on a 2/2/3 schedule, working every other weekend.

Position Summary:

The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment whether it be electrical or mechanical according to safety, predictive and preventative maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the business goals and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must follow company safety policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.

• Perform maintenance skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.

• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Education and Skill:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Work Keys, not required but a plus

• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing setting or equivalent experience

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery operation.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines.
