Dietz Property Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician (40 hours/week) to join our premier apartment community in Grand Rapids, MI.

Additional Benefits: An annual $400 tool stipend, a weekly $70 on-call stipend, plus $50 for weeks with a holiday. Emergency on-call work guarantees at least 1 hour of paid time.

Role Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our apartment community. This includes providing excellent service, completing service requests promptly, performing preventative maintenance, and conducting unit inspections or rehabilitation as scheduled by the Community Director.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in maintenance, construction, skilled trades, or home repair is desirable, but we will train the right individual for a rewarding career in property management.
• Ability to frequently push or pull up to 50 lbs., occasionally lift up to 75 lbs., kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Availability to participate in the on-call rotation.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with on-call hours scheduled on a rotating basis.
