Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining high-speed production equipment, machinery, facilities, and fleet.
Typical Duties
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately and maintain inventory of parts and tools.
- Perform assigned preventative maintenance on machinery, facilities, and fleet.
- Complete scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment and handle emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
- Detect, report, and repair defective equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform tasks including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical troubleshooting, and repair of machinery, facilities, and fleet.
- Diagnose and repair issues on our fleet and perform preventative maintenance.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools along with material handling equipment.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and organized condition following safety regulations.
- Relay issues and communicate information to and from vendors regularly.
- Maintain professionalism and effective communication at all times.
Skills / Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; applicable licenses/certifications preferred.
- Working knowledge of automated systems (conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, etc.).
- PLC experience is preferred but not required.
- Computer proficiency, knowledge of CMMS & BAS is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to become certified in Warehouse Equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Familiarity with the use of common hand and power tools for mechanical, electrical, and maintenance repairs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Skilled in general tractor/trailer, lift gate, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
- Experience in preventative maintenance or educational equivalent; certifications are desirable.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Capable of performing physical activities such as kneeling, lifting, and bending.
- General skills in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics, and mechanical repairs are preferred.
Shift: (Must be flexible)
3rd Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
