Job summary

Riverbend Industries Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Chicago to keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and contributing to a high-performing operation.

You will read schematics, work on mechanical and electrical systems, and support process improvements while following safety procedures. Overtime may be required during breakdowns.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Develop and maintain a shop wide preventative maintenance schedule.
• Support production teams by responding quickly to equipment concerns.
• Assist with equipment installations and process improvements.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
• Overtime due to machinery breakdowns and repairs may be required.

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented attitude.
