S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Valor community in Fredericksburg, VA.

You will perform essential repairs to keep living spaces safe, comfortable, and attractive, while supporting team operations and responding to resident needs. In this role you will handle drywall, electrical repairs, and other maintenance tasks, with duties expanding to routine property upkeep as part of a full-time, non-exempt schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English clearly.
• General mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic repairs.
• Valid Driver’s License if operating a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:To ensure residents a safe, comfortable, and attractive place to live by always keeping all electrical and mechanical equipment and appliances functional or serviced immediately and making all needed repairs to structures promptly. This position is considered an essential function to the operation of the community therefore, consistent attendance is an essential function of this position, as it directly impacts the employee’s ability to perform their duties effectively and ensures proper workflow and communication within the team.
