The role supports an essential community operation with after-hours and rotating on-call considerations. Responsibilities include responding to service requests, plumbing, tile work, drywall, and electrical repairs, with occasional HVAC/R tasks and general upkeep.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Prior experience reflecting overall mechanical aptitude.
• Valid Driver's License (if operating a vehicle).
• EPA Certificate for Freon Recovery; HVAC Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
• Responding to residents' calls for service, completing plumbing repairs; laying and repairing tile; installing and repairing drywall; repairing electrical switches.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: To ensure residents a safe, comfortable, and attractive place to live by always keeping all electrical and mechanical equipment and appliances functional or serviced immediately and making all needed repairs to structures promptly. This position is considered an essential function to the operation of the community therefore, consistent attendance is an essential function of this position, as it directly impacts the employee’s ability to perform their duties effectively and ensures proper workflow and communication within the team.
