Job summary

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Fountain Inn, SC, is seeking a Maintenance Technician with strong knowledge of FANUC robots, HMIs, and electrical and mechanical systems. You will ensure that transfer press and Fanuc robots run smoothly and are repaired as needed for production, with an emphasis on preventive maintenance and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related technical field or High School diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Experience with stamping presses up to 2000 tons, coil feeding equipment, servo transfer systems, conveyor systems.
• Familiar with overhead cranes and their operation.
• Ability to manipulate and modify robot programs (Fanuc, ABB, Motoman)
• Heavy robotics experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills such as 8D and 5 Whys
• Ability to use mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints to troubleshoot and fix issues.
• Ability to use multimeters, hand tools, measurement tools, and power tools to troubleshoot and fix issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Capable of troubleshooting and repairing mechanical breakdowns of equipment using PC/PLC ladder logic.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Capable of welding and steel fabrication

The perfect candidate will have experience with FANUC robots, HMIs, electrical and mechanical. You will be responsible for ensuring that plant equipment transfer press and Fanuc robots are running and repaired as required for production.

Maintenance Technician Job Summary

• $34.50 to $37.00 hourly
• Full Time/Direct Hire
• 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM (2-2-3 Schedule)
