Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Metairie is seeking compassionate professionals to support admissions, transportation, meals, medications, and daily operations for a residential rehab facility.

You will engage clients to foster a warm recovery environment, monitor safety, and document incidents while performing routine administrative tasks essential to smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.).
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment.
• Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff.
• Record and escalate any critical communication/incidents in a timely manner.
• Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.).

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• If in recovery, a minimum one - year period of sustained sobriety required

Where You’ll Work

Avenues Recovery Center at Louisiana is a residential facility which offers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation services as well as withdrawal management. Its unique setup - one treatment facility surrounded by 10 beautiful, converted townhomes - enables clients to engage in full-time inpatient treatment while separately residing in a warm domestic setting, removing barriers and diminishing any institutionalized feeling. Staffed by skilled, passionate professionals, clients receive round - the - clock care in the most dignified and compassionate manner.
