Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Foley, MN to support manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, replace worn components, and document work orders to minimize downtime and maintain safety.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in industrial maintenance, with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic repair experience and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Industrial maintenance coursework preferred.
  • 2–5 years in industrial maintenance is preferred.
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and assist with repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Replace worn or defective components as needed.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and documentation.
  • Assist with equipment installations, setups, and relocations.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout.
  • Support production by responding to maintenance requests promptly.
  • Assist with facility maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Technician.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
