We are seeking an experienced, full-time, 1st Shift Maintenance Technician with industrial electrical experience to join our team at our Erie, PA location. The position offers an hourly rate of $21-27 (BOE) and comprehensive benefits. Joining our team provides exposure to industry expertise and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

1. Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
2. Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
3. Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance during machine operation.
4. Build and wire control panels according to prints, including layout and testing.
5. Read and interpret manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.
6. Diagnose problems, replace parts, test, and make adjustments.
7. Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
8. Instruct operators on preventive maintenance requirements.
9. Maintain a cost-effective parts inventory.
10. Repair breakdowns as scheduled by the Plant Manager.
11. Maintain building and grounds.
12. Coordinate with outside contractors for new equipment installation.

Minimum Requirements

• At least two years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with industrial electricity and PLCs.
• Hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Building and grounds maintenance experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Basic math skills.
• On-site availability in Erie, PA.
• Authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship available.
