Job summary

Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of production machinery and equipment at both Manheim and Elizabethtown facilities.

This non-exempt role reports to the Production Engineering Manager in the Maintenance department. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, install new and existing gear, and coordinate with outside vendors to complete tasks.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician.
• Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and other systems.
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Experience operating equipment including snow blowers, powered tools, and floor scrubbers.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain positive vendor and client relationships.

Responsibilities

BASIC FUNCTION:

Entry level Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of all production machinery and equipment in Manheim and Elizabethtown facilities.

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform all routine preventative maintenance to production & facility equipment at both facilities.
• Troubleshoot and perform required repairs to production & facility equipment at both facilities.
• Manage PM Coordinator maintenance software to maintain proper records of maintenance program.
• Installation of new and existing equipment

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional bending, squatting, and lifting.

• Demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Build business relationships primarily around good, solid, and courteous service, followed by individual rapport. Avoid excuses or negative explanations.
