Randstad USA is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a plastics manufacturing facility in Elgin, IL. The role focuses on maintaining injection-molding equipment, troubleshooting breakdowns, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The position requires 3 years of hydraulics/electronics/pneumatics experience, basic blueprints understanding, and own basic tools. Shift is 2 PM–11 PM, Monday–Friday, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in hydraulics, electronics, and pneumatics.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints.
• Experience with injection molding support equipment (Thermolators, Spru Pickers, robots, Grinders, etc.).
• Lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must have own basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Insure the upkeep of the injection molding facility.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs on all molding and support equipment.
• Keep and update accurate maintenance records on all equipment and facility.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as requested or directed.
• Other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
• Must be able to interact and communicate with all departments and machine manufactures services technicians.
• Ensure a smooth running, well maintained facility.
• Minimize downtime due to machine or equipment failure.
• Provides clear and accurate records of maintenance activities performed.

Hello NOW HIRING – DIRECT HIRE – IMMEDIATE START Maintenance Technician | Injection Molding Equipment & Production Support(Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Injection molding production equipment and plant systems in a plastics manufacturing environment.)

Role Summary: Randstad USA is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for a plastics manufacturing facility in Elgin, IL. This direct-hire position supports production by maintaining Injection-molding equipment, troubleshooting breakdowns, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Mechanical and Electrical experience required.

• Maintain preventive maintenance programs on all molding and support equipment.

Requirements:

• High School education or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in hydraulics, electronics, and pneumatics.
• Must posses a basic understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints.
• Must understand all support equipment associated with injection molding. (Thermolators, Spru Pickers, robots, Grinders, etc.)
• Lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must have own basic tools

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive pay:$30–$36/hr based on experience
