Job summary

Personnel Resources, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Industrial Maintenance Tech for a 12-hour night shift. Must have a high school diploma or GED and solid mechanical knowledge to identify and repair equipment and perform building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, maintains, and repairs equipment including basic painting, carpentry, plumbing, and some welding.
• Performs regular and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Performs routine building maintenance as needed.
• Receives work orders and schedules own assignments.
• Multi-tasks and prioritizes work effectively.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards to supervisor.
• Keeps work areas clean and orderly at all times.

Job description

Personnel Resources is hiring and Experienced Industrial Maintenance Tech for a 12- hour Night Shift.

Must have High School Diploma or GED. Must have Knowledge of general building and equipment repair and maintenance. Sufficient mechanical knowledge and experience to identify and correct mechanical malfunctions. A team player, ability to perform task or functions completely with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner. Ability to read and comprehend instructional manuals, vendor manuals, technical data, and work orders. Use of hand and power tools. Proficient in equipment repair and machinery installation.

Working Conditions

Must be able to work a 40-hour week or be assigned to a crew working 12- hour shifts with occasional overtime, when needed. Must be able to do heavy lifting.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspects, maintains, and repairs equipment to include, but is not limited to basic painting, simple carpentry, routine plumbing repairs, and some welding.
• Performs and follows through on regular & preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Performs routine building maintenance functions as needed.
• Receives work orders and schedules own assignments.
• Effectively multi-tasks and prioritizes work.
• Follows standard safety procedure, corrects safety and environmental hazards, and reports them to the lead-man or supervisor immediately.
• Maintains work areas in a clean, neat, and orderly condition at all times.
