Job summary

SELIT North America, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair problems with production and facility equipment. You will perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure product quality and safety.

Daily documentation of downtime, spare parts, and maintenance is required, and you will assist with equipment changeovers as needed. The role offers an air-conditioned work environment, a 12-hour evening shift schedule, and opportunities for bonuses and

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing problems with all production and facility equipment. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure produced products are of the highest quality and safe. This role will require daily documentation pertaining to downtime, spare parts, and preventative maintenance performed. This role will also assist with equipment changeovers and production as needed.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to operate basic to sophisticated hand tools and possess knowledge of safety procedures and practices
• Fulfill physical requirements of the position including walking, standing, stooping and climbing
• Able to lift a maximum of 60 pounds and stand for an eight-hour work shift
• Flexibility to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary
• Committed to quality, safety and communication- Excellent communication skills at a cross-functional level

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D
• Basic math skills required
• Minimum 1-year experience in machine maintenance or trade school
