Qualifications

• Must have multiple years of verifiable experience in a similar maintenance position for multi-family housing.
• Compensation based on experience.
• CPO and EPA certifications are preferred.
• Must have your own basic tools including a smartphone or iPad.
• Physical demands include constant walking, standing, climbing stairs/ladders and lifting up to 50lbs frequently.
• Time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills required.
• Background and drug screening required.
• On-call rotation may apply with bonus pay.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address proactively.
• Resolve work orders in a timely manner with strong customer service.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Perform general maintenance: appliance repair, carpentry, painting, landscaping.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, machines, and equipment.
• Maintain safety regulations and keep work areas clean.
• Assist with unit make readies and ground maintenance including pools and snow removal.
• Support other Peterson Properties owned/managed properties as needed.

Peterson Properties, Inc. is seeking a full-time, experienced apartment maintenance technician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, skilled, and self-motivated maintenance professional who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-maintained community for our residents.

The ideal candidate has several years of hands-on experience in apartment or residential maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently.

A technician in this position would be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs in both occupied and vacant units including but not limited to:

• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and address proactively
• Resolve/complete work orders in a timely manner while providing exceptional customer service
• Troubleshooting and performing routine electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs
• General building maintenance including appliance repair, carpentry, painting and landscaping
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, machines, and equipment
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area
• Assist with unit make readies
• Assist with maintaining grounds, including pools and snow removal
• Other related tasks as needed at surrounding properties also owned/managed by Peterson Properties Inc.

Requirements

• Must have multiple years of verifiable experience in a similar maintenance position for multi-family housing. Compensation based on experience.

• Ability to work an “On Call” rotation – Additional BONUS Pay applies
