Job summary

Peterson Properties, Inc. is seeking a full-time make-ready technician to join our team. You will perform maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant units, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance work to prepare units for rent.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with verifiable maintenance experience. You must have your own basic tools and a valid driver's license; on-call rotation offers bonus pay and opportunity for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have verifiable experience in a similar maintenance position for multi-family housing.
• CPO preferred, but not required.
• Must have your own basic tools including a smartphone or IPAD.
• Physical demands include constant walking, standing, climbing stairs/ladders and lifting up to 50lbs on a frequent basis.
• Time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work.
• Successfully complete background and drug screening.
• Ability to work an on-call rotation – additional bonus pay applies.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Make vacant units rent ready by completing general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs
• Complete work orders for current residents while providing exceptional customer service
• Assist with maintaining grounds, including pools
• Assist with snow removal and application of ice melt
• Participate in emergency on-call rotation - bonus applies
• Assist with quarterly preventative maintenance checks and repairs
• Perform light checks for building exteriors, hallways, and common areas
• Other related tasks as needed at surrounding properties owned/managed by Peterson Properties, Inc.
