Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Aurora, CO is seeking a maintenance technician to help ensure the facility’s safety and smooth operation. You will inspect building systems, perform repairs, assist with renovations, handle IT-related support as needed, and manage exterior tasks like landscaping and snow removal.

Daily checklists keep equipment and spaces in optimal condition. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, sobriety if in recovery, and practical carpentry/repair skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Innovative, strong worker with ability to problem solve and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects.
• Assist with building renovations/ repairs, interior and exterior.
• Assist with technical difficulties (video calls, internet service, equipment maintenance).
• Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal, etc.).
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists for proper building and equipment.

What You'll Do
