Maintenance Technician
Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) seeks a Maintenance Technician for its Box Plant in Denver, CO. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment and performing preventive maintenance and breakdown calls in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.
- Respond to breakdown calls in a production environment as part of a maintenance team.
- Work across multiple crafts; training provided for skill development.
- Work assigned shift based on plant needs; 3‑shift schedule with potential shift changes.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
- Technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Experience in corrugated packaging or printing industry is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $29.12–$39.60 per hour, based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience.
- 1.5× pay for overtime beyond 8 hours and beyond 40 hours.
- 1.5× pay for Saturday and Sunday, holidays, and additional OT on holidays.
