Pay and Benefits
  • Pay Range: $25.00 – $38.00 per hour based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience
  • 1.5× Pay over 8 hours and over 40 hours per week
  • 1.5× Pay for Saturdays and Sundays
  • 1.5× Pay for holidays plus additional overtime over 8 hours on holidays
  • Uniforms provided
  • Safety shoes and safety glasses stipends
  • Paid training to advance through skill levels and achieve higher pay
  • Tool stipend or replacement to maintain basic hand tools; all special and heavy tools supplied by PCA

  • Paid vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year; pro‑rated vacation during the first year based on start date

Responsibilities

This position is based at the PCA Box Plant (CITY, STATE) and performs a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment. Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform preventive maintenance activities and answer breakdown calls in a production environment. All Maintenance Technician positions are multicraft, and training is provided to develop these skills.

Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery
  • Technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Trades (preferred)
  • Experience in the corrugated packaging or printing industry (preferred)
  • Ability to work the 3‑shift production schedule; placement based on plant needs and seniority, with opportunities to change shifts when organization or production schedules change
  • Authorized to work in the United States
