Job summary

LeoForce in Darien, CT is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Technician to keep our production equipment and facilities running safely and efficiently. This role requires hands-on expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and PLC systems, with a focus on preventive and corrective maintenance and strong problem-solving abilities.

You will diagnose issues, perform routine inspections, repair components, and document activities in our CMMS, while supporting safety and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Strong plumbing experience is required.
• Experience troubleshooting motors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, drive systems and other industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
• Trade certifications or technical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and replace or repair defective components.
• Operate maintenance and fabrication equipment, including welders, saws, grinders, and drill presses.
• Install, modify, and maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment.
• Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance records, and CMMS documentation.
• Assist with spare parts inventory management.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Experience: Senior Level

Salary: $26 - $40 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and replace or repair defective components.
• Operate maintenance and fabrication equipment, including welders, saws, grinders, and drill presses.
• Install, modify, and maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment.
• Support equipment reliability initiatives to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
• Operate forklifts and aerial lifts as needed.
• Source parts, tools, and materials required to complete maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance records, and CMMS documentation.
• Assist with spare parts inventory management.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong plumbing experience required.
• Experience troubleshooting motors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, drive systems, and industrial equipment.
• Strong industrial electrical skills, including PLC troubleshooting, three-phase power, controls, and 480V systems.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery.
• Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office and CMMS systems preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Trade certifications or technical certifications are a plus.
