Job summary

Winvian, a Relais & Chateaux luxury resort in the Litchfield Hills, seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician to keep our unique property safe, functional, and beautiful. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, painting, and light carpentry across guest cottages and grounds, and operate landscaping equipment with a collaborative team.

The role requires a hands-on, reliable individual with a strong work ethic, able to lift 75+ lbs, and flexible weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and repairs across guest cottages, facilities, and grounds.
• Routine and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems.
• Operate landscaping and maintenance equipment (mowers, tractors, power tools).
• Assist with seasonal property upkeep including grounds care and snow removal.

What You'll Do

Starting pay is $22.00/hour

Requirements

• Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs
• Previous maintenance or facilities experience required
• Experience with painting and power equipment preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or HVAC is a plus
• Strong work ethic and "can-do" attitude
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Flexible schedule- weekends and some holidays required
