Job summary

Winvian Farm LLC, a Relais & Chateaux luxury resort in the Litchfield Hills, is seeking a reliable full-time Maintenance Technician to keep cottages, facilities, and grounds safe and functional. • General maintenance and repairs across cottages, facilities, and grounds.
• Routine and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems.
• Painting, minor carpentry, and basic plumbing/electrical tasks.
• Operate landscaping and maintenance equipment (mowers, tractors, power tools).
• Assist with seasonal property upkeep, including grounds care and snow removal.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys a variety of tasks.

What You'll Do

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across guest cottages, facilities, and grounds
• Complete routine and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems
• Handle painting, minor carpentry, and basic plumbing/electrical tasks
• Operate landscaping and maintenance equipment (mowers, tractors, power tools)

Starting pay is $22.00/hour

Requirements

• Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs
• Previous maintenance or facilities experience required
• Experience with painting and power equipment preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or HVAC is a plus
• Strong work ethic and "can-do" attitude
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Flexible schedule- weekends and some holidays required
