Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Aurora, CO is hiring a maintenance technician to inspect facilities, perform repairs, and support daily operations across our rehab centers. The role covers interior and exterior work, equipment maintenance, and basic IT/ connectivity tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, plus problem-solving and multitasking abilities. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• A minimum one-year period of sobriety if in recovery.
• Innovative, strong worker with ability to problem solve and multitask.
• General knowledge of carpentry and repair.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects.
• Assist with building renovations/ repairs, both interior and exterior.
• Assist with technical difficulties (video calls, internet service, equipment maintenance).
• Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal).
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure proper building and equipment.

What You'll Do
