Job summary

MAC Incorporated in Indianapolis is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and production equipment. The role emphasizes strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, including working with voltages from 24V to 480V.

Day shift is 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime. Candidate must perform preventive maintenance, read electrical schematics and manuals, install and startup new equipment,

Qualifications

• Industrial machinery repair and maintenance experience required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems.
• Ability to safely work with 24V, 110V, and 480V electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial production equipment.
• Strong equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience assisting with machinery installation and equipment setup.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment issues.
• Troubleshoot machinery failures to minimize production downtime.
• Safely troubleshoot and work around 24V, 110V, and 480V electrical systems.
• Diagnose electrical components, wiring, controls, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment drawings.
• Collaborate with production personnel to identify and resolve equipment problems.
• Assist with the installation, setup, and startup of new machinery and equipment.
• Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend improvements to increase reliability and performance.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and PM activities.
• Follow all established safety procedures and maintain compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

This position requires strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, including the ability to safely diagnose and repair electrical systems ranging from 24V to 480V.

Key Responsibilities
