Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary: Responsible for the operational aspects of assigned properties and achieving company goals in those areas. In this role, you will maintain the efficient operation and upkeep of the property’s buildings and grounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.
  • Maintain efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vacant units prior to new resident occupancy.
  • Respond to resident service requests; enter and track requests using a work order system.
  • Keep all amenity areas clean and in operable condition.
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

  • Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
  • Appliance service and repair experience is a plus.
  • HVAC certification is highly preferred.
  • Apartment maintenance experience is ideal.
  • Availability for on-call work is required.
