Job summary

Freedom Village at Brandywine is seeking a Plant Operations Technician to join our maintenance team. This full-time role maintains residential apartments and public areas, performing plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliance tasks, with on-call weekend rotation.

You will work with residents and staff, uphold confidentiality, and contribute to a caring, cheerful living environment. We offer scholarships, paid time off, health benefits, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must possess working knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• Must communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Must function under general supervision.
• Able to generate a warm, friendly, and caring demeanor on first impression.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance to residential apartments and public areas.
• Handle plumbing, electrical, flooring, and appliance maintenance.
• Work as part of the Maintenance team to maintain the physical condition of campus buildings.
• Rotate weekend on-call schedule.

Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality focused Plant Operations Technician to join our team!

About The Role

The Plant Operations Technician (Maintenance Technician) is responsible for the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate and efficient maintenance. This will be accomplished through the performance of simple tasks that require the application of general maintenance and repair techniques, materials, tools, and equipment. The Maintenance Tech serves as a member of the Maintenance team that is responsible for the physical condition of all buildings on campus. This Full-Time position will require a rotating weekend on call phone.
