Freedom Village at Brandywine is seeking a Plant Operations Technician to maintain the upkeep of apartments and common areas on campus. The role emphasizes plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances knowledge, with a focus on responsive and efficient maintenance.

The position is full-time with a rotating weekend on-call requirement, and the team values confidentiality, communication with residents, and teamwork to ensure exceptional care. We welcome applicants who align with these standards.

• Must possess working knowledge of residential building maintenance to include, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• Must be able to effectively communicate and work with residents and staff.
• Must function under general supervision. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

• Perform simple maintenance and repair work using general techniques, materials, tools and equipment.
• Serve as a member of the Maintenance team responsible for the physical condition of campus buildings.
• This Full-Time role requires a rotating weekend on call.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Plant Operations Technician (Maintenance Technician) is responsible for the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate and efficient maintenance. This will be accomplished through the performance of simple tasks that require the application of general maintenance and repair techniques, materials, tools, and equipment. The Maintenance Tech serves as a member of the Maintenance team that is responsible for the physical condition of all buildings on campus. This Full-Time position will require a rotating weekend on call phone.
