Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician for an off-shift maintenance role focused on troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing industrial manufacturing machinery and secondary equipment. You will work to maximize uptime and resolve operator and quality concerns efficiently.

The position requires 3–5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance, strong pneumatics/hydraulics troubleshooting, and the ability to work independently on off-shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3–5 years of hands-on industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting experience in Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
• Background in plastic injection molding equipment maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, Ladder Logic/PLC concepts, and NEC basics.
• Valid Forklift License or ability to complete forklift certification.
• Ability to work comfortably and independently on off-shifts with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, secondary equipment, and auxiliary systems.
• Diagnose and complete repairs on hydraulic systems, pneumatic circuits, electrical systems, conveyors, and mechanical components.
• Respond to quality and operator issues regarding machinery performance and manufacturing methods.
• Ensure all safety equipment, guards, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standards function according to OSHA and ANSI regulations.
• Maintain equipment operating logs, document repair activities, and assist with root-cause problem resolution.
• Move, install, align, and adjust motors, fixtures, and machine shop equipment utilizing welding and fabrication skills as needed.

Title: Maintenance Technician (Industrial / Manufacturing)

Shift: Full-Time; 2nd Shift / Off-Shift (Highest Priority)

Salary: $30.00 – $35.00/hr (Based on experience) + $2.00/hr shift differential for 2nd shift, plus overtime and bonus potential

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client's off-shift maintenance team. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing industrial manufacturing machinery and secondary equipment to maximize uptime, reduce downtime, and resolve operator and quality concerns efficiently.

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to stand, stoop, reach, climb overhead structures, and work in tight spaces underneath equipment.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs.
