Flaherty & Collins Properties seeks a Maintenance Technician for The Ascent in Cleveland Heights, OH. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and promptly address resident requests to keep the property in excellent condition.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent; HVAC/EPA certifications are a plus. The role is full-time and requires after-hours or weekend availability, with a comprehensive benefits package.

• HVAC/EPA certifications are a plus.
• Hands-on maintenance experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.

• Willingness to respond to after-hours or weekend emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on property systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed.
• Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Conduct property inspections and proactively identify maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize work orders.
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance; maintain tools and supplies inventory.
• Assist with apartment turnovers and respond to after-hours emergencies; participate in on-call rotation.
• Respond to snow and ice removal as required.
