River Oaks Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Position Details:

• Full-Time Day Shift Positions Available
• Rate: $16/hour

Purpose/Belief Statement:

The Maintenance Technician provides routine technical support to ensure high-quality resident care. The role involves working effectively with team members to complete tasks in a timely, organized, and safe manner, focusing on delivering quality resident care and managing available resources.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Make preventive maintenance rounds.
2. Log and date all equipment checks and tests.
3. Log and date all preventive repairs and routine replacements (e.g., filter changes, part dilapidation).
4. Perform routine, damage, and cosmetic repairs.
5. Perform outdoor maintenance and cosmetic repairs.
6. Perform other maintenance activities as required.
7. Participate in scheduled training, education, and orientation programs.
8. Perform other related activities as assigned.
9. Adhere to departmental, center, and corporate policies, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 1-2 years related experience.
• HVAC certification required.
