Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Kingston, NY is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair our healthcare facility, ensuring safety and comfort for residents and staff.

You will perform routine maintenance, respond to requests, inspect systems, troubleshoot plumbing/electrical/HVAC, and support room changes while upholding safety and quality standards. Competitive benefits and on-site perks are included.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare or facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and departments.
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems, equipment, and grounds.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building issues.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
• Assist with room preparation and repairs for new admissions or room changes.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and facility standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
• Support emergency repairs as needed.

Pay Range: $18-$20/hr

Responsibilities:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Repetitive lifting of 50 pounds

• Repetitive pushing of 200 pounds
