Hudson Hill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Maintenance Technician for full-time day shifts in Yonkers, NY. The role involves routine upkeep of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to keep the facility safe and comfortable for residents.

Key responsibilities include completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and on-call support while ensuring OSHA and CMS/state regulations compliance. Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with hand/power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of maintenance experience, healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use tools safely.
• Pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
• Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Maintain grounds, including snow removal and basic landscaping.
• Assist with room setups, moves, and equipment installations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs.
• Support emergency repairs and on-call maintenance needs.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA standards.
• Assist with CMS and state regulation compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)

• Ensure facility safety by identifying and correcting hazards

• Assist with room setups, moves, and equipment installations

• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs

• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards

• Assist with maintaining compliance for Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and state regulations

Qualifications

• Must have Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1 years of maintenance experience (healthcare setting preferred)

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
