Job summary

Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing is hiring a Full-Time Maintenance Technician for our on-site team in the Hudson Valley. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to requests, and inspect systems to keep the facility safe and comfortable.

The role requires basic plumbing/electrical/HVAC knowledge and strong troubleshooting, with a collaborative, independent work style. We offer excellent benefits and growth opportunities within a stable healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience is required; healthcare or facility setting preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize urgent issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and departments.
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems, equipment, and grounds.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building issues.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
• Assist with room preparation and repairs for new admissions or room changes.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and facility standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
• Support emergency repairs as needed.

Pay Range: $18-$20/hr
