Job summary

Synectics Inc. in Cortland, NY is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain and troubleshoot production machinery, support equipment, and facility systems in a demanding manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing production machinery, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and maintaining accurate maintenance records while following safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with electrical systems and schematics.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience repairing manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to work independently and respond to equipment emergencies.
• Blow molding or plastics manufacturing experience is a strong advantage.
